You'll simply describe what you want and one of our talented tattoo artists will sketch out the idea for you (also providing design advice and creative input, and answering any questions you may have). Then you'll give your feedback and your artist will revise your custom design accordingly. After the sketch has captured your unique concept, a final version will be created, ready to rush over to your favorite local tattoo artist to be inked on your body! From your brain to your skin: pretty cool, right? And it's your own custom tattoo design -- nobody else in the world will have the same ink.   We've been in the custom tattoo design business for about five years now, and we've created thousands of custom tattoos for our clients. From tiny ankle, ring and earlobe tattoos, half and full sleeves, all the way up to upper back pieces and full body suits, we've done all kinds of placements, sizes and styles.

• I want to do a coverup, or work around an existing tattoo. Can you do that?
  
  
  Yes we can! Just provide pictures of the ink you have now, and we can create a custom design to fit around/over it. We can incorporate your old tattoo into the new design or make a custom coverup to fit your new idea.
  
  
• How expensive is your custom tattoo design service?
  
  
  It's probably cheaper than you think! Just answer the questions below to get an instant price quote!
  
  We also offer you a cheaper, risk-free option to order just a concept sketch -- if you like it and want to continue developing your design with your artist, that cost will be deducted from your cost for the complete design package.
  
  
• How long will it take to get my custom tattoo design once the process begins?
  
  
  It depends on how complicated your design is to create, how much detail is involved, and how many revisions are needed to produce the final result. Usually, we can get your concept sketch to you within 2-3 days, with revisions and final version coming 7-10 days later (if you ordered the complete design package). Since you are an important part of this creative process, your response time in giving feedback will be a major factor in how quickly your design can be finished.
  
  
• What exactly do I get for my money?
  
  
  If you order the complete custom tattoo design package, you will receive:
  
  

  • a concept sketch based on your description and any examples of style/subject you provide
  • advice and creative input from our professional tattoo artist
  • up to two major revisions of your custom design (based on your feedback)
  • a final version of your tattoo design containing both line art (stencil) and inked (colored/shaded) files

  
  Your files will be high-quality .PDF files and will be set to print at the actual size of your tattoo. They will be available to download from TattooDesign.com immediately after they are finished.
  
  
• How many times will my artist revise the initial concept sketch?
  
  
  Your complete design package quote includes up to two (2) major revisions after the initial concept sketch. If you require more revisions, they are available at an additional charge. At the artist's sole discretion, additional minor changes may be made without charge.
  
  If you purchase a concept sketch only, you will not receive additional revisions unless you want to continue working with your artist by purchasing a complete package. The amount you paid for your sketch will be deducted from the complete package price at that time.
  
  
• How do I receive my completed custom tattoo design?
  
  
  Your finished design will be available to download and print from TattooDesign.com as soon as your artist has completed it.
